Terms of Service(By paying for a commission from me, you are agreeing to ALL of the following:)

1. I, the artist, reserve the right to refuse or cancel a commission for any reason.
(If your commission is canceled by me after you’ve already payed, you will be refunded the agreed upon commission price in full.)
2. Commission will only be started once the payment has been made IN FULL and the transaction has been processed. I currently do not accept deposits or payment plans.3. As part of the commission process, I will need to keep in contact with you via email to ensure that the artwork you’re commissioning from me is to your liking. If you continuously fail to respond to my emails within 48 hours of receiving them throughout the commission process, you will be at risk of forfeiting your commission entirely. If this happens, you will be refunded 70% of the agreed upon commission price- the remaining 30% will be kept as a fee for my time and labor.(If you know there may be something keeping you from responding within the 48 hour time frame, such as an emergency, a vacation, etc, please let me know when this happens/when this will be, and we can work something out.)4. At no point may you, the client, profit from the commission you receive from me.
This includes re-selling the commission, incorporating the artwork into merchandise, passing the commission off as your own artwork for portfolios/social media, etc.
(You may post the artwork on social media, use the artwork as profile pictures/banners, use the artwork as visual reference for your character, etc, so long as you are not passing it off as your own artwork and are not making financial profit from it.)5. At no point may you, the client, edit or otherwise alter the finished artwork in any way that removes, censors, or otherwise obscures my signature, watermark, and/or username.(The only exception is for when the artwork is used in profile pictures, which will most likely always obscure the signature/watermark/username. It is not required to provide credit when using the commission in a profile picture, but I do encourage you to do so.)6. At no point may you, the client, edit or otherwise alter the finished artwork in any way that breaks my Terms of Service, includes aspects from my "will not draw" lists, or encourages bigotry, misinformation, or other harmful aspects.7. When you receive your finished commission, you agree that you, the client, are responsible for using the commission legally, ethically, and within my terms of service. You agree that I, the artist, am not responsible for anything you, the client, choose to do with the finished commission after receiving it.8. The estimated completion time for most commissions (from the time you pay for the commission to the time you receive the finished piece) is roughly 5-10 days. I will let you know via email if your commission may take longer than this.9. I will ask for your input at each major stage of the commission (sketch, lineart, flat color, and shading + rendering) to make sure you’re happy with how the art is coming along, at which point you can ask for changes/adjustments/etc for no cost.**Once your piece has been finished and sent over, you will have to pay an additional fee of +$5-+$15 to change/alter anything else in the piece.**(If you wish to change something from a stage that you already approved previously during the process- such as the sketch when we’re already onto coloring- it will cost an additional +$5)10. You, the client, will technically be paying for my SERVICE of producing a piece of artwork, NOT for the piece itself. You will still get to freely download it, share it to social media, print it out to hang on your wall, whatever you wanna do (within my terms of service)- but you are paying for my labor and time to create a piece of art, not for a digital product.By commissioning me, you confirm that you understand this, and agree not to report a "missing product" to PayPal after the commission process is complete and you have received your piece, as this would be fraud.(This is to avoid clients scamming artists who use PayPal to escape their commission payment, due to the company’s broken product protection technicalities)11. Your commission will be available via a Google Drive folder when complete, so you must be able to access Google Drive.12. You can cancel your commission at any time during the process.During the first 12 hours after paying, you will be free to cancel the commission with no additional fee and receive a full refund. However, because I tend to start working on a piece very soon after it's been paid for, if you cancel your commission after the 12 hour grace period, you will instead receive 75% of the agreed-upon commission cost rather than 100%, the remaining 25% will be kept by me as a fee for my time and labor.13. If you're getting a commission of a specific character/OC/etc, I'll need at least one reference photo. If you don't have any reference photos for the character(s) you want in the piece, you can let me go off of a written description- but if you choose to do this, you confirm that you understand and are ok with the fact that the appearance of the character(s) may not be completely accurate to what you were imagining, due to the inherent limitations of written description.14. By paying for your commission (paying = you sending me the agreed upon cost in full AND me receiving said payment in my PayPal account), you are confirming that you have fully read through and understand these terms of service for commissioning me, and agree to abide by them, both throughout and after the commission process.
